Mediterranean Sunshine

Even though I had to work the day job this Saturday, the sun has been shining and I came home to find that Mr Beachcomber had done the chores (and bought me flowers!) so we could go off for a lovely walk on the beach. Not much wood to comb but my daughter found an amazing piece that will make a fab base or back piece for one of my creations. I love where I live and days like this it really is stunning.

So all this lovely sunshine made me think of our recent trip to Cyprus to meet our amazing grandson. Our beautiful daughter in law has caught the beachcombing bug and often scours the beaches out there for sea glass and little seashells for me. We found some lovely driftwood on our visit and I made something a little different this morning - the sunshine made for a Mediterranean vibe! It is much, much smaller than I usually make and I have painted the door this time, my signature washing line is there though! :0)
